Creative Classes & Workshops

I love offering small in person classes, workshops, and art camps throughout the year that are relaxed, fun, and encouraging. Whether I am working with kids or beginners, my goal is to create a space where each person feels comfortable exploring, building confidence, and simply enjoying the process.

I enjoy exploring different mediums, from watercolor to sewing and beyond, and love bringing in ideas like pressed flowers or resin to keep things fresh and creative. I am a California credentialed teacher and love working with children and adults. I also love sharing simple painting ideas online through @mamapandapainter, so you can paint along with me from home.

I am excited to be offering upcoming classes at the Manhattan Beach Art Center, along with summer art camps for kids and workshops. Join the waitlist to be the first to hear about upcoming classes and summer art camps. You can fill out the form below or reach out. I would love to have you join one.

Child drawing a leaf on paper with a yellow crayon, sitting outdoors on a table, with a large green maple leaf placed in front.
Three women at an outdoor evening gathering holding up small artwork featuring a winter scene with snow and trees, smiling and standing close together.

A simple snowy scene using an easy card technique. I love how each one turns out a little different.

Several children with colorful scrunchies on their wrists are gathered in a circle, giving a fist bump, with a chicken being held by one of the children.

One of those quiet moments when everyone is focused and creating.

Sketching outside and observing nature is such a simple way to build drawing skills.

A group of young girls is sitting around a table outside, engaged in a painting or drawing activity. The table is covered with art supplies such as paints, brushes, paper, and water cups. They are in a backyard or patio area with a sliding glass door and greenery in the background.

We sewed scrunchies at art camp and even made one for our resident chicken.
